Agatha Harkness is a fictional character who appears in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is a powerful witch, operating magic on a master level. Like most magicians in the Marvel world, the three main sources of her power are incantations directed to various deities or magical objects, manipulating the magical energy that surrounds the world, and using her own psychic resources. Harkness is almost immortal, or at least very long-lived (it remembers centuries before the sinking of Atlantis). Her cat, Ebony, is actually a powerful creature from another dimension. Agatha was the governess of Franklin Richards and the Scarlet Witch teacher.
